Optional Additional Fees:

Extended Day: Aftercare and After School Club activities are offered for additional fees from 3:00-5:30.

Private Suzuki instrumental lessons are available on-site and are payable directly to the instructor.

Mid-Year Enrollment:

FASTB accepts students on a rolling admission basis when space is available. Tuition is prorated based on the start date. The total tuition is divided by 10, and then multiplied by the months of attendance to determine the prorated amount due. Our policy is that any month begun is due, regardless of the academic calendar of a particular month. The determined prorated tuition amount will be due in full by March 1st. The full pay discount does not apply to prorated tuition.

Early Childhood Options and Enrollment Requirements:

The French American School of Tampa Bay offers an Early Childhood program available for two, three, or five days per week, depending on the child’s age and program selection. There is no prerequisite for French language exposure for applicants.

The Early Childhood/Preschool grades are categorized as follows:
– TPS/EC2: Children born before September 1, 2022
– PS/EC3: Children born in 2021
– MS/VPK/EC4: Children born in 2020
– GS/Kindergarten: Children born in 2019

Our school follows a calendar-year birthday cut-off similar to France’s (December 31st), except for early childhood applicants other than TPS/EC2, who may apply using the Florida birthday cut-off (September 1st).

Children in the TPS/EC2 program are not required to be potty-trained.

For PS/EC3 children, achieving full potty training is a significant milestone. They must be fully potty-trained to start school in August. Those not fully trained will initially be considered for the TPS program when fully ready, potentially transitioning to PS mid-year if space allows. We understand that this can be a challenging time for both children and parents, and we are here to provide support throughout this process, ensuring a smooth transition for your child.

All applicants undergo an evaluation to ensure we can effectively meet each child’s educational needs.

School hours for EC2 and EC3 are from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. After-care and additional activities are available from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Applicants transferring from an accredited French school are exempt from evaluation but must submit a Certificat de Scolarité and school bulletins.

Required documents for application include a copy of the birth certificate and current vaccination records.
