Extended Care & Clubs
Our After Care program provides a safe, structured, and nurturing environment for students at the end of the school day, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., with optional enrichment activities available. To register, please click on the buttons below to view the available After Care options and select the schedule that best meets your family’s needs.
Our Before Care program is offered each morning from 7:30 a.m. to 8:15 a.m., providing families with flexible options to support their daily schedules while ensuring a calm, supervised, and welcoming start to the school day. Below, you will find several buttons corresponding to the different Before Care options available. To enroll, simply click on the button that best matches your family’s needs:

Extended Care & After-School Programs at FASTB
The French American School of Tampa Bay (FASTB) is a licensed childcare and preschool provider offering year-round programming.
In addition to our regular school hours, FASTB provides a variety of enriching programs designed to support families and enhance the student experience.
Extended Day Care is available on school days for families needing care beyond regular school hours (8:30 AM – 3:00 PM). This program offers age-appropriate, interactive activities in a safe and engaging environment.
After-School Clubs include activities such as Judo, Theater, Arts & Crafts, and Zumba. These clubs offer students opportunities to explore new interests and develop talents beyond the classroom.
All extended care and after-school programs are offered at an additional cost.
Aftercare (3:00–5:30 PM, Monday–Friday)
Families may customize a plan that best fits their needs. Options include:

Emergency/unplanned care is available at $15 per hour (or portion thereof)
To ensure the safety and quality of each child’s experience, we maintain a strict teacher-student ratio and reserve the right to deny enrollment if capacity is exceeded.

We are excited to offer a variety of engaging after-school clubs for Fall 2025! Each club is designed to spark creativity, curiosity, and connection in a bilingual environment. Full descriptions and instructor bios will be available soon on our website.

LEGO Club with Nico – Open to students aged 4 and up
A building club where students will create models, machines, and imaginary worlds using LEGO and K’NEX. Students will alternate between guided challenges and free building to encourage creativity, logic, and teamwork.

Sensory Exploration Club with Eva (TPS-PS-GS)
A free-exploration space where children engage with a variety of materials (rice, pasta, water, fine sand, seeds, fabrics, and more), using sensory bins inspired by Montessori principles. Students can pour, sort, compare, touch, and experiment at their own pace, supporting curiosity, fine-motor development, and sensory discovery in a calm, inviting environment.

Drawing Club with Nicolas (1st Grade - 5th Grade)
A fun and engaging club where students learn to draw using simple, step-by-step methods. Inspired by styles such as Dog Man, Captain Underpants, animal characters, and classic cartoons, students will build confidence, develop their creativity, and explore their own artistic style in a supportive environment.

Jewelry Making Club with Eva (PS-MS-GS)
Children will create small pieces of jewelry: bracelets, necklaces, keychains, and rings. Using beads, string, and colorful chenille stems, each session gives them the opportunity to design and craft a unique item they can proudly take home

Performance Club With Fabien (1st Grade - 5th Grade)
A dynamic and supportive club where students build confidence, express themselves, and strengthen their French speaking skills through theater. Through games, short scenes, and improvisations in French, students develop creativity, communication, and performance skills, all while having fun!

Multi-Sport Club with Nicolas (PS-MS-GS)
A club designed especially for our youngest students, focused on motor skills and early sports exploration. Children will take part in movement circuits, balance activities, jumping exercises, ball-handling games, and simple cooperative play.
The goal is to help them develop coordination, independence, and the joy of moving their bodies in a fun and supportive environment.

Embroidery Club with Laure-Anne – Open to students in Grade 1 and up
A creative and calming club where students will learn the art of embroidery through simple, age-appropriate projects. Using hoops, fabric, and colorful threads, students will explore basic stitches, patterns, and decorative techniques.

Soccer Club in French with Nicolas (Kindergarten - 5th Grade)
A soccer club with a focus on fair play, team spirit, and the enjoyment of the game, featuring technical exercises (passing, shooting, dribbling), mini-games, and small matches adapted by age.
