Originally from Wallonia, Belgium, Eva’s passion for international education was sparked by her own experience as a student in an English immersion school, which she attended from elementary school through high school. In addition to her native French, Eva is fluent in English and Spanish.
After high school, Eva spent over ten months traveling across Canada, Mexico, and Australia. This journey enhanced her language skills and broadened her international perspective. During her travels, she worked as an au pair, which solidified her desire to pursue a career in international education.
Eva earned her teaching degree from Haute École Louvain en Hainaut in Belgium. She then spent two years as a primary school teacher at École Communale de Villerot, teaching CE2 and CM1 in an immersion setting. Following this, she worked for another two years at École Communale de Douvrain, teaching Kindergarten/GS, also in an immersion environment.
With her extensive personal and professional experience in international immersion education, Eva is a valuable addition to FASTB’s early childhood teaching team.
