Fabien Bouget

Willy LeBihan

We are delighted to welcome Mr. Fabien Bouget to the teaching team at the French American School of Tampa Bay.

Originally from Elbeuf, a historic town nestled along the Seine River in Normandy, France, Fabien brings to FASTB a strong academic foundation and a rich array of experiences in early childhood and elementary education. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Language, Literature, and Civilization as well as a Master’s in Education (MEEF – Teaching, Education, and Training for Elementary Schools), both earned from the University of Mont Saint Aignan–Rouen.

Before becoming a classroom teacher, Fabien worked for five years as an ATSEM (Specialized Early Childhood Teaching Assistant), which gave him deep insight into early development and the care of young learners. Since completing his teacher training, he has taught in a range of settings across France, including elementary schools and specialized education programs serving diverse student populations. Most recently, he taught a combined preschool and kindergarten class at a French immersion school in Minnesota, gaining valuable experience in a multicultural and bilingual environment.

Fabien’s teaching philosophy centers on empathy, student well-being, and differentiated instruction. He is committed to creating inclusive, engaging classrooms and values strong partnerships with families to support each child’s development.

For Fabien, teaching is more than a profession—it is a true vocation. He finds deep fulfillment in helping children grow as individuals, learners, and responsible citizens.

Outside of the classroom, Fabien enjoys traveling, theater, and fitness. He embraces new challenges with curiosity and enthusiasm, and we are thrilled to have him as part of our FASTB community.
