Marlène holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Caen in France. After passing the highly competitive Concours de Recrutement de Professeurs des Écoles (CRPE), she began her teaching career in Paris, where she taught kindergarten and grades 2 and 3 for four years. Marlène is passionate about fostering both the academic and personal development of her students and takes great pride in witnessing their growth and success.
Her time studying in Texas marked a turning point in her journey, significantly strengthening her English skills and deepening her appreciation for bilingual education. While in Texas, she taught in a bilingual English-Spanish elementary classroom, an experience that inspired her to return to the United States to continue sharing her French language and culture in a bilingual setting.
Outside of the classroom, Marlène enjoys traveling, reading, swimming, hiking, and listening to music.
