Mindy Robertson brings nearly two decades of experience in education and has been an integral part of the French American School of Tampa Bay since its early years. A graduate of the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Science in English, Mindy combines extensive classroom experience with a deep understanding of the local educational community. Although she is not originally from Florida, she has been a longtime St. Petersburg resident and considers the Tampa Bay area home.

Before joining FASTB, Mindy taught in elementary and middle schools, working in multi-age classrooms and across multiple subject areas. She also served as a Curriculum Coordinator, experiences that prepared her well for the diverse and dynamic environment of an international school.

After teaching English Language Arts at FASTB, Mindy transitioned into the role of Office Manager and Childcare Director. She quickly completed the rigorous training and licensing requirements necessary to become Childcare Director and has since become an indispensable member of the school’s leadership team. Whether welcoming new families, supporting students and teachers, coordinating daily operations, or assisting parents, Mindy is known for her warmth, efficiency, and unwavering commitment to the school community.

While international schools naturally attract families and educators from around the world, Mindy provides an invaluable local perspective. Having lived in the Tampa Bay area for many years, she knows the community, its educational landscape, and its many resources exceptionally well. Her longstanding relationships and local knowledge help strengthen the school’s connections throughout the region, making her an important bridge between our international community and the city we proudly call home.
