Originally from Brussels, Belgium, Océane moved to Quebec, Canada, at the age of ten. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Preschool and Elementary Education from the University of Sherbrooke in 2017.
With a passion for reading, nature, photography, and discovering new cultures, Océane brings creativity, curiosity, and a vibrant energy to her teaching. Over the past several years, her adventurous spirit has led her to teach in diverse international settings—including England, Poland, Morocco, and Canada—where she gained extensive experience with the French national curriculum (AEFE) and the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP).
Before joining FASTB, she taught at the International Trilingual School of Warsaw, Keltoum École Bilingue de Tanger, and École Mer et Monde in Halifax. Her experience in multi-age classrooms across all elementary levels—particularly Grades 3 to 5—has shaped a flexible and inclusive approach to learning.
After a successful first year at The French American School of Tampa Bay, Océane is thrilled to return for the 2025–2026 school year. She looks forward to continuing her work with our students and contributing to the rich bilingual and multicultural environment of FASTB.
