Born and raised in Montreal, Canada, Valerie experienced a bilingual upbringing similar to that of FASTB’s students. Growing up in a multicultural city cultivated her passion for connecting with other cultures, traveling the world, and learning new languages.
Valerie attended McGill University in Montreal, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Education in teaching English. She has spent the past ten years teaching at the primary and secondary levels in Montreal. Through this, she has discovered that her true passion is working with young learners. Valerie is committed to fostering an inclusive and engaging classroom to help students reach their full potential.
Being bilingual in English and French, Valerie is uniquely equipped to communicate effectively with both students and French teachers. This ability greatly enhances collaboration and understanding within the educational environment, ensuring that all students receive the support they need.
