A Great FASTB Day!

Bonjour! Smiles all around today as we officially opened The French American School of Tampa Bay doors for the first time. A great day and lots to tell you below, plus news on our Open House this Saturday, our updated calendar and more. Merci!

Jour d’ouverture

Hard at work and hard at play on Day 1 of The French American School of Tampa Bay!

From morning drop off to classroom time to lunch and play on our playground, you can see that students (and staff) had a healthy dose of French and Fun!

Open House Saturday – 9-11am

Now that we are open, how about an Open House? We are very excited for everyone to see the finished school so we invite you to join us this Saturday morning from 9-11am to tour, enjoy some refreshments, and chat about FASTB and our beautiful building. Whether you are exploring our school for your child (see below) or just interested, come on over!

Openings for 2018-19 & Steps To Apply

School may be in session but we are continuing to enroll students for 2018-19, so if you are thinking about applying, or know someone who may be interested in applying, you are not too late and below is the sequence of events for our application process:

Inquiry: Submit the Application Inquiry Form on our web site and we will contact you to set up a school visit to give you more information about FASTB and answer questions
Apply: Print, fill out and mail our Enrollment Application and fee
Interview: After receiving the completed application we set up a parent or guardian and child interview to assess readiness and ability to benefit from our program
Acceptance & Enrollment: Upon acceptance, an Enrollment Contract must be signed and deposit paid to secure a spot for the upcoming year

Meet The Founders

The French American School of Tampa Bay, (FASTB), founded in February 2017 by Elizabeth and Willy LeBihan, offers a unique immersion school experience to students from Early Childhood through grade 12.

Inspired by their successful creation of L’Ecole Française du Maine: The French School of Maine 17 years ago, the Founders decided to put their experience and devotion for education to work in the Tampa Bay area they have grown to know and love.
