Kettly Zephir

Originally from Haiti, Kettly spent four years in New York before relocating to Florida in 1997. She is fluent in French, English, and Haitian Creole and graduated from Pinellas Technical College in 2011.

Kettly home-schooled her five children during their early years and has accumulated over 20 years of experience in Childcare and Early Childhood Education throughout Pinellas County. Her professional journey includes working in the aftercare program at the YMCA at Melrose Elementary and teaching at Woodlawn Elementary School and Promise Land Christian. Kettly brings her extensive experience working with children of all ages to FASTB.

Since joining our team in 2021, Kettly has contributed to the petite section, moyenne section, summer camp program, and aftercare. Additionally, she has explored other career paths, working part-time in cosmetology.

In the classroom, Kettly is celebrated for her strong rapport with children. She creates a nurturing environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and always feel cherished.

In her free time, Kettly is an active community member, serving as a board member and head of the Education Department at her church. She also enjoys reading and gardening.
