Born in Toulouse, Lucile grew up in the Bordeaux region. After completing a Scientific Baccalaureate, she went to study in Paris, where she obtained a degree in Special Education and a bachelor’s degree in Economic and Social Administration.
After five years of working in education within the field of intellectual disability and mental illness, she embarked on vacations to explore new places and cultures. Motivated by her experiences, she left Paris to dedicate more time to world exploration. During this period, she first set foot in the United States, following visits to Canada, and before continuing her journey in New Zealand and Asia.
Upon returning to Paris, while working as a special educator, she did not neglect her past experiences as a volunteer. During her free time, she volunteered as a tutor for foreign children attending school in France and taught summer classes in a small village in Togo. With a desire to teach French, she decided to further her studies. She obtained her first diploma at the Alliance Française of Paris before moving to Germany to teach French at the Institut Français of Bonn. She pursued her studies and earned a Master’s in Teaching French as a Foreign Language.
After graduating, she continued to teach French as a Foreign Language to children and adults at the Institut Français of Bonn and Düsseldorf. Additionally, she taught French as a Mother Tongue to French-speaking primary school students attending schools where another language was used for instruction, such as German public schools and English international schools. During this time, she also worked as an examiner for the DELF exams.
Having had a baby girl and being prepared for new adventures, Lucille lives in Saint Petersburg with her family.
